How to reserve and redeem WLD tokens

If you haven’t yet had a chance to fully verify your World ID, you can still reserve WLD token grants and redeem them by visiting an Orb within 12 months. Here’s how it works. 

Reserving your WLD tokens

  • First, download World App. Developed and operated by Tools for Humanity, World App is the first wallet created for the Worldcoin project.
  • Next, navigate to the “Worldcoin Grant” tab in World App and tap the “Get Grant” button. Each grant is available to be claimed or reserved for a limited time.
  • Finally, tap on the “Reserve for now” button to reserve the allotted number of WLD tokens for up to 12 months.

Redeeming your reserved WLD token grants

Reserved WLD tokens are visible in your World App wallet and can be received once you’ve fully verified your World ID at an Orb.

After verifying your World ID at an Orb, you’ll see a prompt in the “Worldcoin Grant” tab in World App to redeem your reserved grants and receive the allotted amount of reserved WLD tokens. Follow the prompt instructions to receive your tokens*.
