About the Team:

The Trust & Safety team builds frameworks that allow Worldcoin’s employees  to engage with our ecosystem stakeholders (namely, Orb Operators and Users), as well as external stakeholders (namely, media, law enforcement, and policymakers)  in the safest and most transparent and safest way. At its core, the Trust & Safety team aims to protect our community while actively building trust both internally and externally.

About the Opportunity:

As the Trust & Safety Lead, you will champion our community directly engaging with our key stakeholders, internal and external.  You will be responsible for building and implementing appropriate, preemptive safety measures and, likewise, following engagement protocols to handle l risk situations when they arise. You will build and manage your team of Trust and Safety Agents and work closely with other teams (namely, Legal, Growth, Communications, Economics and Data Science) to continuously ensure the safety of all Worldcoin stakeholders.

• Identify existing risks to our community and implement appropriate safeguards;
• Handle risk situation resolutions with internal and external stakeholders;
• Ensure that communication on safety issues and risk situations is shared amongst all relevant stakeholders;
• Build and manage relationships with relevant external stakeholders;
• Collaborate with with other teams (i.e., Growth, Legal, Communications, Economics and Data Science) to ensure alignment between teams; and
• Continuously improve Worldcoin’s Trust & Safety operations and strengthen internal processes.

About You:

• Proven experience in Trust & Safety department operations or similar role in a publicly-traded or high-growth company
• Bachelor 's Degree in Law, Political Science, or related field preferred, but not required
• Experience scaling a global technology startup (ideally in the  gig economy or cryptocurrency space)
• Proven track record of high-level execution within an organization
• Demonstrated experience managing a team within an organization
