About the Team:

The Growth team is responsible for overseeing the launch strategy and deployment of Worldcoin in different markets. The Growth team also serves as the primary point of contact for local Operators, running Operator recruitment and selection, supporting Operators, and ensuring optimal performance. Overall, the Growth team is on the frontlines of Worldcoin’s ambitious mission of global, inclusive, and rapid distribution of the Worldcoin token.

The Growth team is broken up into two sub-teams: (1) Expansion Operations team and (2) Growth Operations. Both teams provide input into the growth strategy. Once a new market is selected, the Expansion Operations team focuses on entering that market, from recruiting Orb Operators to running local marketing initiatives. Then the Growth Operations team steps in, focusing on scaling within the new market by generating inbound and outbound initiatives to drive user adoption and improve Orb efficiency.

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced, community-minded individual to nurture Worldcoin’s global community of Orb Operators. The Community Growth Manager will create engagement and community-building opportunities with Orb Operators around the world, foster a culture of camaraderie and support among Operators, and work closely with regional Market Managers to identify and support Operators’ needs. While keeping Operators motivated, the Community Growth Manager will also contribute key insights and lessons learned from the Operator community to inform innovative market campaigns.

The Community Growth Manager will work closely with the Growth, Operations, and Communications teams to support key decisions involving Orb Operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate. Provide motivation, advice, and support to Operators in order to ensure optimal performance and hit growth targets.
  • Build. Design and implement a community building strategy, drawing on Operator feedback, internal data, market insights.
  • Nurture. Nurture relationships among Orb Operators.
  • Execute. Design and implement Operator engagement opportunities that build relationships, create community, facilitate sharing of best practices, equip Operators with the tools and skills necessary to succeed, and promote communication between Operators and the rest of the Worldcoin team.   

About You:

  • You have 4+ years of relevant experience. You have succeeded in high-performance operations, community building, community engagement, or communications roles before. You have experience using social media platforms, including Discord, Facebook, Instagram, and Slack, Telegram, Reddit, and Twitter.
  • You’re scrappy. You enjoy working as part of a fast-moving, dynamic team and are willing to contribute wherever needed to make an impact. 
  • You have strong cross-cultural competency. You are able to communicate and do business across different cultures and countries and have experience working in cross-cultural environments.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills. You are able to manage and nurture long-term relationships with the Orb Operator community. You know that no two people are the same and are able to mediate and resolve conflicts.
  • You’re analytical. You make data-driven decisions and are eager to contribute to larger strategy conversations.
  • You’re innovative. You love coming up with solutions to unconventional problems and taking action.
  • You’re ready to travel. You’re excited to spend 50-75% of your time on the road directly interfacing with local Operators to understand how to build the best community possible.
